Radiohead.

So, i really don't like Radiohead, but this thing they're doing is perfectly inline with, and provide massive support to the things i'm talking about and have based my life's ideology on. They aren't the first to do it, but they are the biggest, so people are paying attention. here's someone else who summarizes it really well:

So, what i predict will happen is Radiohead will personally make more money on this than on their previous records, but the record itself will make less. Which is fine, cuz the lost money is only the money that the obsolete recording industry would've appropriated anyway.

Big analysts and the media will call the album a failure, but Radiohead won't and all the indie rockers will be emboldened. This is an extra loud section of the death knell of the recording industry, Hooray!
